Pho Ha

If you're in the mood for some delicious Vietnamese cuisine, or more specifically some pretty amazing pho, Pho Ha is the place to go! It is just off of imperial highway on the 57 not far from campus. It takes about 5 minutes or less to get some delicious Vietnamese food. Adjacent to the Brea Mall, this location is close to shopping and entertainment. Make sure to go with enough time if your going during lunch hours because it can get pretty packed & you'll most likely have a wait time of 15 to 20 minutes (its well worth it!). This place is nice and clean with good service. I know not only from personal experience, but one yelp reviewer states, "This restaurant is very clean and its a really nice place. The servers are really helpful if you need anything. The owner who sits at the register is really friendly and nice also." Another person states, "..after coming a few times, I have found that this place is one of the best for pho in this area." So if you're in the mood for great pho I recommend trying out Pho Ha!

Pita Hot - A Middle Eastern Gem!

Pita Hot is a Middle Eastern / Mediterranean restaurant that specializes in affordable meals that you can eat quickly. This place is one of those hidden gems that you would not expect to find in Fullerton, CA! You wont be disappointed in whatever you order (make sure to try the humus!) and your wallet wont be disappointed either. Though the service is a little slow, its more than worth it when the food finally arrives steaming hot and freshly made from the kitchen. You can tell the cooks and owners care about their food quality and ingredients they use in their dishes. Its a very casual place, so no need to feel bad going in there with your PJ's during finals! One of the best parts of this place is the amount of food you get. Each plate they serve is over flowing with food and the quality is superb. If your crunched for time and cant spend the time eating in the restaurant, they also do phone orders and take it, so you can take it back to your dorm, house, school, etc... All in all, a great place to go if your hungry for some Middle Eastern food and don't want to break the bank.

What's Up?

As college students, we are all familiar with the ramen dinner.  This salty goodness can usually be found for $.33 cents at the market.  However, there is a new way to indulge in this staple meal.  What's Up offers Japanese syle ramen that is both delicious and inexpensive.  These savory bowls of goodness start at just $7 and include noodles, hard boiled eggs, veggies, and a super tender slice of Japanese style pork.  Unlike instant noodles, What's Up offers a sense of a homestyle meal, with Japanese waitresses serving you a bowl of ramen and an ice cold beer. (They also have green tea for all you innocent non-drinkers)  There is only one thing to say when that bowl of delicous ramen sits in front of you.... Get in my belly!
