Roscoe's Famous Deli

Once again my carnivorous appetite has lead me to a place which adds tiny pieces of bread and cheese to a pile of meat. That place is Roscoe's. No not the chicken and waffle place, this Roscoe's is a legit deli sandwich place dropped in the middle of Downtown Fullerton which is only a few streets away from CSUF. This is the closest we can get to an actual New York deli.

Unlike most Socal "deli" places, Roscoe's is not shy on the meat. They are not afraid to pile the meat on your sandwich so high that your damn jaw cramps while trying to take a bite. Totally worth it though. Each sandwich comes with a side and a pickle. I just wish they offered more meat on the side instead of coleslaw.

Corned Beef and Hot Pastrami

It's a simple place with a large capacity eating area and an outdoor bar. Oh yea this place doubles as a dive bar at night, so you can expect plenty of drinks to go along with your sandwich. So screw Subway and all that eat fresh nonsense, this is how a sandwich should be made.
